Images: In Context! Feature Description: Make Wallpaper from Image

The Make Wallpaper command is a simple enhancement to your Windows Wallpaper command. It simply allows you to set your wallpaper by right clicking on any image on your system. Images: In Context!™ has the added benefit that it allows you to set your wallpaper to any supported image formats - Windows only natively lets you use BMP and JPG files.

To set your wallpaper, choose the Make Wallpaper command. If you select an image in a format other than BMP, Images: In Context!™ will prompt you with the following message:

Windows only supports wallpaper in Windows Bitmap format. The current format is incompatible. Would you like Images: In Context! to create a compatible Bitmap file in your Windows folder? Press Yes to continue, or No to cancel the operation.

The Copy to Windows Folder First will optionally copy the image to your Windows folder, the default recommended location for Windows wallpaper images.

Next is the Placement option. Select Stretch to either stretch the image bigger or smaller to fit your screen. Select the Center option to center the image with no stretching. Select Tile to fill the screen with your image, from left to right, from top to bottom, again with no stretching.

Finally, choose a color to apply to your desktop. Any areas left exposed by your image will be this color.
