The Add Text effect allows you to add text captions to your images. Begin by selecting a font size, style and color with the Font button. You may choose to have your text left-aligned, center-aligned or right aligned to the right of this button. Choose from six different font styles: Normal, Embossed, Engraved, Double, 3D Block and Drop Shadow.
Your text can be printed in a rectangle, also called a Back Screen. Choose from either a rectangle or a rounded rectangle (a rectangle with rounded corners). Choose the Opacity of the backscreen and whether or not you'd like to smooth the edges of the backscreen for a soft-edged effect. Choose the Backscreen Color button to choose a color for the backscreen rectangle. Finally, type your text in to the textbox at the bottom of the window.
You may adjust the text rectangle in the Zoom Preview area. When you move your cursor within the Zoom Preview area, the rectangle will make itself visible for you to move and resize to your liking.
